A. Primary sources is information about the person like a photographs and interviews. A secondary sources is when you use the web.
B. A Primary has have more value because you are there with the person talking to them first hand.

Mya, First of all, yes, I agree that primary sources can be useful but secondary sources are more reliable. They are based/constructed out of a lot of primary sources which makes them more apt to have truthful facts.
Second, you stated that secondary sources are on the web. Not all secondary sources are necessarily on the internet. They can be in any print material. Such as.... Books, Papers, Essays, Movies and even Magazines.
I understand that most secondary information would be found on the web, but I think as children of the 1# school EVER, we should be a little more specific. Thanks, Suyan Turatto

A primary source is a first hand eye witness of an event. For example, someone's diary, a live tennis game, and/or newspaper articles.
A secondary source is someone who didn't experience an event at first hand. For example, a biography or a movie based on World War II.
I think primary sources are most important to historians because they have the real story and have eye witnessed and experience what happened.

I think you're right Suyan. Secondary sources are important, but i think primary sources are important to historians since the info. comes straight from whatever/whoever they are researching.
